Welcome to the Arctic Days this weekend!
The North Cape Museum has invited the ice artists Lena Wirkola and Roald Bjøru, both with extensive experience in both outreach and ice art. This year's theme is Arctic animals, and the artists will create a large whale, as a tribute to these magnificent creatures.

Saturday at 12-3:00 PM:
On Saturday, we invite everyone, young and old, there are no age restrictions. We will have a bonfire, sausages, and campfire coffee to offer. Ice is a fun material to sculpt in. Come and try your hand at carving ice and have fun. The North Cape Museum is present to assist, and the ice artist Lena will provide technical tips. Free activity! The museum is also open!
Sunday:
It's possible to come and see the ice artists working on the ice sculpture, which will become a whale.
